FOUNDATION IDENTITY
The PASS Foundation is a private, non-profit organization that operates in the fields of family assistance and support, scientific research, training, and related activities.
It was founded in 2017 within the Bimbo Tu aps Association to implement the Bimbo Tu Welcome Home project, PASS, and Solidarity Services Center.
"We firmly believe that the well-being and empowerment of children and adolescents are the foundation of a vibrant and cohesive community."
Alessandro Arcidiacono, President
MISSION
The PASS Foundation (Center for Welcoming and Solidarity Services) offers hospitality, concrete support, and support to those facing the illness of a child far from home, and works to build a more caring, aware, and supportive community. Through educational and cultural projects, it supports children and adolescents in their development, offering them opportunities for discussion, expression, and learning.
The PASS Foundation's mission spans two intertwined fronts: healthcare and social care.
In healthcare, it offers free accommodation and logistical support to the families of children and adolescents hospitalized in the Bologna metropolitan area, ensuring a safe place to stay during their treatment.
In social care, it serves as a community resource, promoting awareness, prevention, and training on urgent issues, such as Nutrition and Eating Disorders and psychopathological issues in adolescents and young adults. Its initiatives actively engage the local community, fostering the participation of families, schools, and social and healthcare workers.
VALUES
The PASS Foundation works to create a supportive network capable of supporting not only families facing serious pediatric neurological diseases, but also the entire local community, with an approach based on proximity, prevention, and building bonds of trust.
